Jason-Santa Barbara,CA I love breakfast burritos. I always have.

Best place for breakfast burritos in SB would have to be Rudy's. They have like 6 different kinds and they're all good. There used be a place here called 'Big Bowl' that had the best in town and after that a place called 'RG's giant burgers' that had great breakfast burritos. In my opinion, a breakfast burrito is a simple recipe. For me... scrambled eggs, bacon, fried potatoes and maybe bit of beef if you got it. Maybe a bit of salsa... sooooo good.

Now i'm hungry.

Eribertos!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its the best place in the world for breakfast burritos. Why you ask...

1. They're cheap. 3 bucks or so,
2. They are HUGE,
3. They will fill you up. from 10 to three you're stuffed,
4. You can put whatever you want in them. I get ham, potatoes, cheese, egg, and pico de gallo...
5. They are open 24 hours!
6. And they taste yummy.

I have to say I hold a special place in my heart for the Broken Yolk Cafe in Pacific Beach. It's on the corner of Garnet and Lamont, and I used to ride my skateboard there when I worked from home. They have a California Burrito that is completely awesome. The beans, cheese, avocado, and french fries inside make me happy. The place became so popular they added seating on the roof, and on Sundays, the line to get in is around the block.

The Burrito that was Neato...

So I don't like Mexican food. Never have, never will. However, one fateful weekend, my feelings toward burritos were changed indefinitely. It was a Saturday evening and, along with some fellow alcohol consumers, I went out and became beligerently drunk. Not "lets have a dance-off" drunk, not "where the hell did I put my keys?" drunk-- downright tumbling in the parking lot, "how the hell did we get here?", "did I really moon an officer of the law", good old fashioned inebriancy! I digress-- the next occurence during that alcohol hazed night would change my life forever more. The homies and I drove to a local Eribertos, in leu of some early morning munchies. To the surprise of all who were with me, I ordered a green chile burrito and to my unfathomable delight, I FELL IN LOVE. The green chile burrito was delicious-- it was simple (literally, green chile and a tortilla with some meat) yet brought on a slew of joygasms within my mouth-- and indeed, deep within my little Mexican soul.
